Library of the college is divided into 7 sections/areas, namely
Circulation Section
Here charging and discharging of books is done. Books reminders are sent for overdue books and fine is collected for the books returned late.
Stack Area
In the section, books about 1,04,614 books are arranged open-access shelves according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC).
Reference Section
Books of reference nature are kept in this section. Books of this section cannot be issued and readers have to sit here and consult the books
Archives
Books of rare nature are kept in this section. The arrangement of this section is according to Dewey Decimal Classification. This is a closed access section.
Reading Section
Library subscribes to 22 newspapers and 122 journals & magazines. Readers can sit in this section and access magazines and newspapers.
Digital Library
In this section, readers can access the internet and digital material subscribed by the library. 22 personal computers with the latest configuration are kept in the section
Seating Area
The library is fully airconditioned for summers and heaters are placed at many places in order to make users comfortable while they are sitting in the library. Around 200 students can sit in the library.
